3 Discipline 3 Hours
Within our popular Musical Theatre Sessions, pupils work intensively in all areas of the Performing Arts, transferring skills learnt in each discipline. Whilst the emphasis is placed on having lots of fun at the same time as learning new skills, we recommended this class to those pupils who enjoy all aspects of performing and are willing to work at a fast pace.
This is a high energy session taught by three different specialists in Acting, Singing and Dancing. This allows the children to learn a vast array of skills in Musical Theatre from our very professional teachers. Class sizes are kept in line with Ofsted regulations in order to ensure EVERY child receives the focus and individual nurturing they require. All teachers are regularly DBS checked and First Aid trained for complete peace of mind.
Pupils will learn songs, routines and scripts from popular musicals in order to enhance performance and memory skills.
The highly structured classes are a firm foundation for not just Musical Theatre, but are paramount in teaching life skills from powerful and clear speech to strong poise and confidence in everyday situations.
You will also get the opportunity to see your child perform on stage annually in the Theatre as well as having the option to audition for our annual full scale musicals.
1 to 1 LAMDA optional sessions are also offered for those wishing to gain vocational qualifications.

Act
In acting classes, we cover a bunch of cool stuff to make you an awesome performer. We focus on your voice, making sure you speak clearly and breathe right. We dive into character stuff, like accents and getting physical with theatre and mime. Improv is all about letting loose and being creative. We mix it up with both film and stage training so you're a pro in any setting. We get into scripts, read on the fly, and work on feeling the emotions. It's a mix of everything to make you a well-rounded actor, ready to rock the performing arts scene!
Sing
In singing classes, we're all about musical theatre jams and tricks, but we throw in a mix of styles from classy classics to pop hits. Why? 'Cause it helps kids get the hang of their voice in all sorts of cool ways.
We're big on teamwork too! Making sweet harmonies with the gang is key. It's not just about sounding good—it's about knowing the musical ins and outs together. We tackle all the singing secrets like breathing, throwing your voice, belly support (fancy word: diaphragmatic), hitting the right notes, adding flair with vibrato, and playing with louds and softs. It's the full package to turn our young singers into real pros at Swish!
Dance
Jazz dance classes are like the go-to for nailing the ins and outs of Pop and Musical Theatre dance. They're all about fine-tuning your grace, boosting your moves, and beefing up that core strength – the secret sauce for a dancer who can do it all. We take a laid-back, whole-picture approach, pushing you to let your emotions shine through your moves. We mix it up with groovy creative moves, get you in sync with rhythm, and keep you coordinated. You'll get a taste of everything from Matilda vibes to the Thriller groove. And yeah, you'll be a boss at rocking out any musical style seamlessly.
