Advanced Stages
Our Advanced Stage classes (known colloquially as PA) are intensive training programmes in Musical Theatre, Acting, Screen Acting and Jazz for pupils who are dedicated and committed to reaching the ‘next level’.
Whether the student is just passionate about the Performing Arts or is potentially contemplating further education and indeed a future career path, these high energy sessions are designed to finely tune each individuals’ skills.

Musical Theatre
An intensive training programme in Musical Theatre, Acting and Jazz for pupils who are dedicated and committed to reaching the ‘next level’.
Focus, commitment and passion are essential. There is no audition, but a 2 week assessment takes place and dedication and regular attendance is a prerequisite.

Screen Acting
Students will also learn a plethora of tools to help them build a character both vocally and physically and how to communicate this truthfully to the camera.
Professionally produced short films will give every actor the opportunity to apply their technical knowledge in detail.

Advanced Dance
Strong emphasis is placed on poise, technique and core strength, as well as performance and expression of movement.
Stamina is a key component to keep up with the fast paced choreography.

For those students who wish to forge a path to a future career in the Performing Arts - our Performance Academy Plus programme is an intensive and technically focussed solution in Acting through song, Acting and Ballet for all serious applicants.
A bit of History…
Swish’s Performance Academy was born following an open audition in London which led to the group coming together and competing for the crown of Britain’s best Musical Theatre performance group.
We eventually finished runner up - witnessed by millions of viewers from across the country - and our Performance Academy (or PA) was born ★
