Shows & Events

There are many opportunities for Swish pupils to be involved in performances throughout the year, either within our large scale musical productions or plays, Summer Showcases and Concerts and Events.

All pupils will perform their own branch main show at Easter at the De La Salle Theatre. Class presentations also take place in the Summer and at Christmas.

All pupils will perform their own individual show at the Lighthouse theatre each Summer. Pupils in year 5 and above will also have the opportunity to audition for full scale musicals in February Half Term and in the Easter break. There are also several concerts and events that arise throughout the year that children may be able to perform in.

All pupils have the opportunity to audition for full scale musical in February Half Term as well as having their own week long Performance Academy Show at the Lighthouse in the Summer Term. There are also various other events throughout the year that children will perform in, including Concerts and Outdoor events.

A little note about our shows…

Our aim here at Swish is to provide a platform where every individual child can achieve their very best performance. This does NOT mean that we expect them to take part in a show with hundreds of others, only to be lost in the background and for parents and carers to sit through umpteen other performances by other children. To achieve this, we ensure that each show is tailored to a specific class or branch only with approximately 50 children in. This gives each child their own chance to shine and gives you the pleasure of watching them enjoy every minute on stage.
ps we also take care of all costumes, individual headshots and on demand videos so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
