Comic Relief is a fantastic cause, founded in 1985 by scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Sir Lenny Henry. All money helps support people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis and tackle issues such as homelessness, mental health problems and food poverty in the UK and worldwide.
This year featured a new Red Nose, designed by Sir Jony Ive. “The magically transforming Red Nose starts as a tiny, flat crescent and springs into a beautiful honeycomb-paper sphere. It proves that the littlest of things can make a huge difference”.
Last week, we showed our support by wearing our Red Noses and striking a pose in class. We are thrilled to say we hit our target for our just-giving page. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far there is still time to give to this great cause! Your generous donations will join the overall money raised so far by Comic Relief, £35,310,407 (Wed 22nd 2023), so thank you!
